This ca. 1845 Vienna regulator is of classic design and proportions with beautiful carvings. A Biedermeier style Vienna Regulator with brass weights, and pendulum bob .The movement has the much sought after "Flat Dial" and "Pie Crust Bezel" and is unsigned. I call this a "Moustache top", and as can be seenin the pictures, it actually has a roof design behind the built in head carving. It could be called a dachluhr.

Beautiful circa 1845 Biedermeier Vienna regulator in Rosewood case. The case has the sought after satin banding around the windows and columns.
This Vienna regulator is of classic design and proportions. The three train movement is provided with a dead beat escapement, and beat regulation. It runs for 8 days on a winding. The unsigned one-piece flat porcelain dial has fine Roman numerals, delicate blued steel hands and a ‘pie-crust’ bezel. . The pendulum has a wood rod and the pendulum bob is brass on both sides. The brass cased weights are supported by most attractive pulleys. The delicate key has a wooden handle. This is a beautiful antique Vienna regulator in the Biedermeier style.
This clock case has been completely restored by Smithsonian educated restorer. The movement has been professionally cleaned, polished, and oiled (a few years ago).
This clock is really terrific , it runs well and keeps good time. This clock would be a wonderful addition to your collection.
